project objective: Develop a site for sales people to generate customised client price lists, rich with graphics and customer specific information.
When Dimond roofing wanted an intranet site they called us because the site would use Cognos BI objects that we had developed earlier. The implementation included an active server page (ASPX) intranet site with network security. The main challenge was how to simplify the complexity of the different ways the staff would be able to customise the price lists.
Once the site was enabled company sales staff could access the ‘Pricing Kiosk’ to prepare their clients price books and price lists with a single click. The price books are graphics rich, structured lists of specific customer pricing for each product with explanations. The list produced was able to have items add or subtracted by the Salesperson that could be given to the client immediately. This gave the staff incredible flexibility in the field.
Although complex in the backend the simplicity of use for salespeople has made it a company success story.

project description: The challenge was to translate the language and data formats from many different systems automatically into one database.
A multinational pharmaceutical company had a problem getting their sales data from different databases in different countries into a compatible centralised format in a timely manner.
We were able to tailor make a solution to suit the client specific requirement. Using Microsoft SQL Server processes were developed to acquire sales data and to process it through the client’s Global Information System. The data was drawn from databases in New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and China.
The software system developed had a huge impact on the company and won their internal global impact award.
